GIFT EDUCATION SPONSORSHIP SCHEME
GIFT Education Sponsorship Scheme (previously known as Pu Men Children Aid Scheme) is an important YBBM welfare project set up in 1989 aimed at providing financial or material assistance to children from poor families, so that they can complete their studies without hindrances.

The students who need assistance are recommended by various Buddhist organizations. After the selection team is reviewed, a monthly assistance fund of RM50 (full year) will be arranged as a tuition subsidy.

In 2020 this year, YBBM sponsored 75 students from poor families. Each student receives RM600 annual aid (RM50 educational aid per month). We are convinced that children need to receive education, as it is through education that they can improve their chances of getting out of poverty.

Application requirements:
- Applicants (current student) must be within age 7-16 years-old.
- Application must be done every year.
- One (1) application from one family only.

GIFT Education Support Scheme
Buddhist youths from tertiary institutions would go to rural area to site survey, home visit and distribute schooing essentials like bags, uniforms, shoes, stationaries to needy students.
GIFT Community Care Scheme
This is a Community Aid Scheme. It provides support to communities such as taking care of solitary elders, caring for weak aborigines, helping them to improve their living environment. The scheme also provides them with material needs, reconstruction of post-disaster areas, etc.
GIFT Education Awareness Scheme
Education means Hope. Through educational activities like life education workshop, learning camp, etc., this scheme provides a learning platform for growth.
